Registration

General

• Registration Deadline for the conference is: 1. July 2008.
• Registration Fee: Early registration 400 EUR (early registration ends April 30th 2008), regular registration 500 EUR. The registration fee covers the participation on all sessions, the conference excursion (with dinner), book of abstracts, publication, proceedings, coffee breaks.
• Reduced registration fee: Reduced registration available for PhD students: To apply please send an email with a letter by your supervisor and a copy of the abstract to xrm2008@psi.ch.
• Invited speakers are asked to register as well.

Registration Procedure

The registration is done via the PSI online system DUO ("Digital User Office"). If you already submitted a proposal for a PSI facility or registered for a conference or usermeeting at PSI you might already have a DUO account.

1. Open the registration page : Click here to open the Registration page (a new browser window will open)
2. If you already have a DUO account enter username and password. This will speed up your registration. Otherwise choose "New DUO User".
3. Fill in the registration form.
4. Click [Submit] on the bottom of the registration page. You will receive an email with the confirmation of your registration and further information (i.e. abstract submission).
5. The registration remains preliminary until the conference fee is transferred to PSI. Click here for Information about the payment modalities.

Replacement of Abstracts

In case you have been requested to update your abstract by the organisation committee (e.g. formatting problems) please:

1. Download and use the conference template: Download template here. Use only the space reserved in the textbox for the abstract (Font Arial 12pt).
2. Save your abstract in the PDF file format (strictly one page A4, no other file formats are accepted).
3. Visit your conference registration: DUO conference page (a new window will open for the DUO application). The page is protected by the username / password you've provided during registration. In case you lost the password please use the DUO lost password function to reset your password.
4. In the DUO Application, you should see a list of your conference registrations. Click [Modify] on the XRM Conference registration record.
5. Click on [Modify Abstract] to reach the modify page where you may upload the new PDF etc. Do not forget to press [Save] after any modification.
